Mark's Foot

By a cruel twist of fate just as our national safety tips campaign got underway Mark Statton in Morpeth in Northumberland was struck on the foot by concrete shed panel which was caught by a gust of wind whilst being moved.

Mark was wearing Buckler Boots B1150 safety dealer boots which withstood the impact and saved his toes.
Mark’s mother Alison who works at Green (Agriculture), a Buckler Boots dealer of many years, relayed the story to us and there’s no better way to convey the details of what happened than to quote her words:
“Mark is on the mend now, he’s just had all the wires taken out of his foot and undergoing physio now to walk again.  The boot saved his toes and the foot kept in shape even though it was crushed. The boot that was damaged as you will see has done its job with only the toecap moving slightly.”

We’re delighted to say that Mark is on the mend and we hope moving towards full recovery.
